About LineProducing.com

LineProducing.com was born out of a desire to share information.  Everything about this website is angled towards open communication and helping others do the best job they can.  It took me a long time to get where I am today, and I return the favor of those who showed me the way, by sharing what I know with you.

Enjoy.

ABOUT STEPHEN MARINACCIO

Stephen Marinaccio picked up his first camera at the age of 10, and immediately knew that he wanted to be a filmmaker.  He studied tirelessly through high school and college to learn the history and techniques of the medium.  With 20 years of experience working in various positions on over 30 feature films including The Bridges of Madison County and Enemy of the State, he has acquired the knowledge it takes to produce.

In 2001, James Cameron gave Marinaccio his first Line Producing break overseeing the Mexico shoot on Ghosts of the Abyss.  From there, he started working as a UPM on independent features and was accepted as a member of the Director’s Guild of America as a Unit Production Manager, Third Area.

Soon after, Steve McEveety (Passion of the Christ, Braveheart) hired him to oversee all production and post for feature films at Mpower Pictures, including The Stoning of Soraya M. and the soon to be released Snowmen.  While at Mpower Pictures, Marinaccio was given the opportunity to assist with development and marketing, further increasing his understanding of the business side.

In early 2009, Marinaccio started his own company, More Nachos Entertainment.  MNE is actively developing a recent acquisition, Eclipse Phase, as a feature film based on the highly anticipated role-playing game of the same name.  Additionally, MNE is working on various properties in the video game world, comic book channels and even the Los Angeles stage scene.

Marinaccio is also passionate about his charity, HollywoodABC, which benefits local schools by donating leftover production supplies.

IN CASE IT MATTERS TO YOU...

I wanted to be clear that I make no money from this site.  Everything is free to you.  Crew and Vendors which I highlight on this site are done at my preference only.  I reserve the right to include or exclude anything I see fit.  I am a little drunk with that power.  [insert maniacal laugh]  I will never sell your registration information (that's silly).  I do this site on my own time and offer it's contents to you as is, and with hopes that you learn a bit from it.

You're welcome.

SPECIAL THANKS

There are a few individuals I'd like to specifically thank for their help in getting this site up off the ground.

  • STUART KREMPIN:  Designed all the custom graphics and LP.com logo.  He also turned me onto Joomla, a life-saving CMS tool which has expended the possibilities of this site beyond my original imagination.  Thank you, Stuart.
  • HEIDI TEBO:  She taught me most of what I know about Post, and was very patient to help me learn by shadowing her on "Incident at Loch Ness".  Thank you, Heidi.
  • ...individuals & vendors who granted an interview or profile.  Thank you.
  • ...everyone who has contributed an article.  Thank you.
