Budget

There are many details and a staggering number of issues one needs to keep in mind when creating a budget. Before this point, you have read the script multiple times, made many notes, broken the script and created a preliminary schedule and/or One Line. Creating a budget is a task which can be overwhelming to the beginner (don't worry even veterans can get overwhelmed every-so-often too). This section reviews various techniques, formats and other general information.

sec question WOULDN'T IT BE SIMPLER TO JUST PUT BUDGETS SAMPLES ONLINE TO USE AS A REFERENCE?

No.  It would not serve you well to alter someone else's budget to suit your project, rather - I strongly feel it's better to understand the building blocks of great budgeting techniques. This is the essence of LineProducing.com and my personal philosophy about being a great Line Producer / UPM. Hence, you will never see full budgets here to compare to.  Knowing the pieces of the puzzle, you can create your own template which you may re-use for each project, tweaking with each projects' needs.  No two projects are alike.
